We are so excited to get back to “business”!!
In an attempt to help and continue to flatten the curve, we have changed our procedures to ensure the safety for our clients and for our staff.
We are not COViD experts, but our new procedures are what we can do to protect both staff and clients.
Our new procedure are as follows:
-We are asking all clients to wear a masks to their appointment
-Please leave Coats in the your car when possible
-Only clients receiving service may be permitted
-Please stay in your car until your appointment time
(Your stylist will call your cell when they are ready for you)
-We have added extra time between clients to thoroughly clean and disinfect surfaces
****As much as we all want to….. please refrain from hugging. There is still no cure or vaccine for COViD-19, so we want to do all that we can to protect ourselves.
*****On a lighter note, we have done a little remodeling and we are excited for your return!!!
When you arrive at your appointment:
-We will take your temperature with our contactless thermometer
-Please wash your hands with soap and water or use the hand sanitizer at one of our stations
- As for now, snacks, coffee, tea, cider, hot chocolate, and magazines will not be available
- We ask that clients use debit and credit card for payment when possible, And for those with contactless payment options we have that capability too
(Patti will still accepts cash and checks only)
Some of our new procedures may seem extreme, but we’d rather be too safe, then to not be safe enough, for now!!
-Please be patient with us as we try scheduling appointments. When we call we will try to be thorough with our questions, so that we can schedule enough time to bring your hair back to “BEAUTIFUL”...What once was one appointment, may now be two appointments because of our extended time apart and if we have to correct any thing that has been done at home. If necessary we may need to schedule a virtual consultation.
We will be open our normal business hours Tues.-Fri. 10-6p, Sat. 9-5p

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people.
DE Shaney Hair Salon has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, however, we cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. _____________
By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by coming to DE Shaney Hair Salon and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at DE Shaney Hair Salon may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, DE Shaney Hair Salon employees, volunteers, and training employees.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with coming to DE Shaney Hair Salon.
On my behalf, and on behalf of my child(ren), I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless DE Shaney Hair Salon, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of DE Shaney Hair Salon, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during or after visit to DE Shaney Hair Salon.
